Rural Camping & Glamping in the Heart of Ceredigion

Tracey and Michael were great hosts – very friendly and helpful. The bell tent was set up with a double bed and a single bed. No negatives at all with the facilities: excellent hot showers, the composting toilet was not a problem, and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, saucepans, cutlery, as well as tea and coffee. I went with my daughter and two grandchildren (5 years old and 11 months old). If you have a baby in arms, it is a trek walking up to the top of the field with them in your arms, as it is steep. The field was enclosed, with a small climbing frame and tree swings, which my grandson loved. He also loved finding marshmallows in the tent waiting to be used on the fire.

Would I stay there again? Yes, I would.

Our first family camping experience was unforgettable! Tracey ensured a seamless journey with excellent communication. Despite our late arrival, she provided fresh house eggs, local sausages, and charcoal for a small additional cost, surprising the children with marshmallows. The spacious tent comfortably accommodated our family of four with room to spare for our belongings. Tracey and Mike were exceptional hosts, always friendly and available to assist. The children enjoyed feeding the chickens and observing the farm animals up close. Impeccable amenities included two full kitchens, a personal shower, and an eco-friendly toilet, all spotlessly clean. Tracey and Mike even helped transport our belongings to the tent, making the experience stress-free. We explored the surroundings with our car and enjoyed a delightful boat tour for just £11 each. Tracey and Mike’s hospitality made our stay exceptional. Highly recommend this camping site for a memorable family getaway!

Really cannot recommend Enchanted Oak enough! The hosts, Tracey and Mike, are both lovely and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. (You’re also greeted by an array of animals which is an added bonus!) The bell tents are lovely and feel really homely, the beds are unbelievably comfy and you don’t get cold at all through the night! Easy-to-use composting toilets, complete with a urinal – it also has the best view if you’re not shy about going with the door open! Hahaha! The shower set-up is amazing – so easy and straightforward to use. The little kitchenette cow shed was ace, it had everything you could ever need and more, complete with a few little extras too which was lovely! Absolutely adored sitting out at night with the fire pit going, toasting some marshmallows, looking at the stars and listening to the owls. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience and we would move there if we could haha!

What a fabulous time we had as a family at Enchanted Oak! The hosts were truly amazing and very accommodating. They even came up the hill late at night during a storm to check we were OK. The glamping experience was amazing – we had a kitchen, bathroom, and compost toilet to ourselves. The location was truly beautiful and close to other areas where there are lots of family activities. Really felt like we were on holiday and loved it so much. My kids absolutely loved the oak tree swing that was put up just before we arrived. Definitely recommend this place.

A massive thank you to Tracey and Mike for our superb getaway at their Enchanted Oak Glamping site. Tracey communicated with us well before our stay and was always there to help with recommendations and getting there. You’re welcomed onto the site with open arms and smiles, not just from Tracey and Mike, but also their numerous animals – we loved this. Upon arrival, the pair helped us with all of our luggage, taking it up to the glamping site by quad bike. The site itself overlooks the Ceredigion hills and is equipped with everything you need – toilets, hot showers, a kitchen, and of course a bell tent with a very comfortable bed. As a side note, our shower stopped working at one point one evening and Mike was up in no time to fix it! From the site, you’re able to visit a number of stunning areas along the coast, all of which Tracey and Mike can tell you about. All in all, we had a truly fantastic stay. We cannot recommend it enough, and we would love to visit again!

Great spot for camping. My daughter and I spent a couple of nights here and we both loved it. Mike and Tracey were wonderful at introducing her to the animals. Beautiful location and lovely people. Thanks.

Stayed for 3 nights in one of two glamping tents, absolutely amazing. Steep walk up to the tents so not for the faint-hearted, but Mike the owner takes your luggage up on his quad bike – not that you need much, as they really have thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Once up there, the views are stunning. Extremely eco-friendly and very peaceful at night, except for a bit of wildlife. Mike and Tracey are great hosts – nothing is too much trouble, full of local information about places to visit to make the most of your stay, and if you want to sit and chill at the tent, you can light a fire pit and toast marshmallows whilst taking in the view. This really is a good place to use as a base for walking and exploring. It’s also only a short drive from the beach. Thank you Mike and Tracey – we’ll definitely be back.

First of all, my family would like to THANK Tracey and Mike for the AMAZING hospitality. They were INCREDIBLE with everything, but the way they were kind and attentive to our kids just amazed me and my husband. Our kids got to feed the chickens and goats. They thought about every detail. Our tent was absolutely perfect and so adorable. As we went inside our tent, on our kids’ beds there was a pack of sweets and marshmallows for the fire pit (like I said, they’ve thought about it all). One of the things that amazed me the most in our tent was the comfort of our bed. We slept so well and everything was provided to keep us warm and cosy. The showers were amazing. Being able to have a warm and relaxing shower after a lot of exploring was delightful. We managed to cook delicious meals and BBQ as everything that was needed was provided. Being able to enjoy our meals as a family with views that were breath-taking was a 10/10. Simply a beautiful place, with astonishing views and 10/10 hosts!
